And for abit of fun … in-house cooking classes
Master Chef might have heightened interest in cooking but it is a sad fact that too few people can cook to provide interesting and nutritious meals. This first came to my attention when speaking with young guys working in construction who complained about leaving home and having no clue how to feed themselves anything other than take away, and that was wearing thin on the pocket but adding kilos to their waist. They told me they wanted to learn how to cook so they felt healthier. I saw the obvious link to workplace wellbeing programs – not only for blokes.
We can offer demonstration (and tasting) cooking classes in your workplace as a one off just for fun or as a series as part of your wellbeing agenda covering topics such as:
- Five healthy quick meals to get me (us) by when I work late - even if I can’t cook!
- Five more healthy options for when I’ve got the hang of this cooking caper
- A menu to impress - mum, the chicks, the boys, the family
- Lunch at work - save cash and don’t feel dozy after a meal of take away crap
- Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring - brunch options for weekend entertaining
- Soups to make you go aaaah on cold winter nights
- Salads never tasted so good
